This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Aids in the organization’s commitment to patient and family-centered care by facilitating effective education of the electronic health record (EHR).
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of Hospital and Clinic workflows along with adult education principles.
• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with operational and informational technology stakeholders across various disciplines.
• Accountable for the architecture of Epic curriculum for Patient Access Staff, overseeing all aspects of training planning, design, development, and implementation for specified applications.
• Assists leadership in strategizing training for specified applications.
• Collaborates with IT, Clinical Informatics, and Operational resources to ensure the effective utilization of the EHR.
• Engages in the creation of training policies and requirements for specified applications.
• Responsible for all facets of training planning, design, development, and implementation for specified applications.
• Tasked with developing a detailed, workflow-based curriculum for specified applications.
• Oversees the construction, testing, and maintenance of the training environment for specified applications.
• Manages the training curriculum, training environment, and provides ongoing educational support.
• Offers insights on the suitable level of training (duration, delivery method) for each user in specified applications.
• Develops appropriate proficiency metrics for training.
• Conducts training sessions for specified applications.
• Provides instructor-led training for credentialed trainers, super users, and end-user audiences.
• Bachelor's Degree in Education Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field, along with three (3) years of relevant experience.
• OR an Associate's Degree with Clinical Licensure in Education Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field, accompanied by five (5) years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN with Clinical Licensure or a Master’s Degree in Education Technology, health-related fields, or similar.
• Experience as an educator in an academic medical center and/or academic environment, demonstrating leadership in evaluating educational outcomes and leveraging technological resources to enhance learning efficiency; experience in a clinical practice is also advantageous, particularly understanding clinical workflows, clinical access, or revenue cycle.
• Familiarity with Training Tracker, SAP, and Adobe Creative Cloud products.
