This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee HL7 interfaces, diagnose failures, and implement resolutions.
• Administer the support queue efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and clinical teams to resolve issues.
• Take an active role in onboarding new imaging center clients.
• Set up and verify DICOM and HL7 gateway connections.
• Examine HL7 message segments to troubleshoot data transmission issues.
• Reprocess unsuccessful messages and ensure they are resolved successfully.
• Execute daily production support activities.
• Oversee the support ticket queue management.
• Assist in PACS gateway operations.
• Spearhead the technical deployment and configuration for new client onboarding.
• Record processes and solutions to issues.
• Recognize chances for automation and enhancements in workflow.
• Handle smaller-scale projects from initiation to completion.
• Proficient understanding of HL7 v2 message structures, including common message types (ORM, ORU) and segment-level analysis (PID, PV1, OBR, OBX).
• Experience with integration engines such as Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, or similar.
• Knowledge of PACS, RIS, or EHR systems and the radiology workflows they facilitate.
• Familiarity with DICOM concepts and basic imaging terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
• Background in healthcare IT or clinical systems support.
