This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Schedule and organize intricate activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, and departmental events.
• Submit tax returns, extensions, and estimates in both electronic and paper formats.
• Prepare zero extensions using tax software.
• E-file tax returns.
• Coordinate the receipt of signed e-File authorizations.
• Draft and proofread correspondence, including client engagement letters and responses to the IRS and tax authorities.
• Assist with invoicing and reporting in a professional services setting.
• Prepare expense reports.
• Manage confidential correspondence and files, as well as new client onboarding.
• Coordinate and oversee workflow with the team.
• Track due-date reporting for IRS and tax authority deadlines.
• Manage partner prospects and leads.
• Report using various programs.
• Create Microsoft Excel reports that utilize formatting, intermediate formulas, charts, and graphs.
• Offer support to local offices while enhancing efficiency, client experience, and quality control.
• Engage with local team members and colleagues across all organizational levels.
• Analyze and improve operational practices to boost efficiency.
• Serve as project manager for special initiatives.
• Proofread for spelling, grammar, and formatting to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Over 5 years of administrative experience; experience in a tax practice is advantageous.
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel; resourceful in learning Excel features and formulas.
• Intermediate to Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Word.
• Technologically proficient.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Skilled in managing relationships with higher-ups.
• Capability to analyze and enhance operational practices for improved efficiency.
• Detail-oriented and adept at working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive office environment.
• Proficient in multitasking and prioritizing with strong problem-solving abilities and self-direction.
• Aptitude for collaborating with diverse external clients and internal associates at all organizational levels.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior organizational capabilities and commitment to timely project completion.
• Ability to organize and prioritize large volumes of information and calls.
• Act as a department ambassador.
• Ability to work independently and manage special projects.
• Proofreading skills for spelling, grammar, and formatting.
• Quick to learn Aprio's Windows-based applications.
