This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate access and file copy requests by examining documentation and consents to ensure the correct information is released.
• Assess and redact third-party information to uphold privacy compliance and avert privacy violations.
• Oversee and address inquiries received through shared email inboxes.
• Carry out claim-related follow-ups and administrative tasks.
• Process payments for vendor invoices.
• Conduct data entry and maintain information within claims management systems.
• Prepare, distribute, print, and send correspondence to claimants, clients, and other stakeholders while adhering to privacy protocols.
• Organize and schedule Medical Consultant calls.
• Assist in onboarding new clients, encompassing file transfers and administrative coordination.
• Support claim operations and the provision of disability and life insurance services.
• Offer administrative assistance to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Completion of post-secondary education (college diploma or university degree).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
• For candidates located in Québec, fluency in English and French is essential to assist clients from provinces outside of Québec.
• Experience in administrative roles or customer service, preferably within the insurance or banking sectors.
• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
• Proficient with Adobe applications.
• Capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, systems, and digital tools.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, take ownership of issues, and drive them to resolution.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
