Clinical Admissions Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Exhibit personable and proficient communication skills to establish rapport with clients and referral sources.

• Deliver programming information comprehensively and supportively to assist clients in accessing care.

• Conduct virtual biopsychosocial assessments across a diverse age range, including children, teens, young adults, and adults facing various mental health issues.

• Assess the appropriateness and suitability for the virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care.

• Formulate provisional mental health diagnoses using DSM-V criteria.

• Record client information in compliance with regulatory standards via electronic medical records.

• Allocate treatment team members and organize group schedules while updating staff about new admissions.

• Collaborate with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams to facilitate the intake process.

• Partner with referral sources, including hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers during admission.

• Seeking to cover various shifts to accommodate the schedules and needs of our clients: Mornings and Afternoons, Afternoons and Evenings, Weekends are encouraged, and alternative availability will be considered on an individual basis.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess native or bilingual English proficiency.

• Preferred experience working with a diverse age range, including children, teens, young adults, and adults.

• Preferred experience in conducting behavioral health assessments and admissions.

• Independent licensure in a mental health field is required.

• While an independent license is preferred, we are open to collaborating with associate-level clinicians who are motivated to develop and work towards full licensure.
