This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Drive the growth of new business opportunities.
• Create and implement a strategic business plan for the territory aimed at attracting new hospital and health system clients.
• Identify, engage, and secure opportunities that lead to long-term supply agreements and ongoing platform utilization.
• Consistently meet or surpass quarterly and annual revenue, account acquisition, and activity targets.
• Build and sustain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities across all phases of the sales process.
• Lead intricate hospital sales cycles.
• Navigate complex healthcare purchasing landscapes involving physicians, laboratory leadership, pharmacy, nursing, supply chain, finance, and value analysis committees.
• Formulate account-specific strategies that tackle clinical, operational, financial, and implementation issues.
• Lead contract negotiations and coordinate internal resources to effectively advance opportunities toward closure.
• Manage competitive positioning and effectively address barriers to adoption.
• Establish relationships with clinical and executive stakeholders.
• Foster trusted relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), physician champions, and executive stakeholders in Neurology and Interventional Cardiology service lines.
• Build relationships with laboratory directors, pharmacists, administrators, and other institutional decision-makers who affect testing adoption.
• Act as a strategic partner to customers throughout the evaluation, implementation, and expansion phases.
• Provide clinical value.
• Deliver scientific, clinical, operational, and economic evidence to various healthcare audiences.
• Conduct educational programs, product demonstrations, and executive-level presentations that highlight the value of pharmacogenomic testing.
• Confidently respond to clinical and technical inquiries from physicians, laboratorians, pharmacists, and healthcare executives.
• Stay updated on the clinical landscape, customer needs, and evolving institutional requirements related to CYP2C19 testing.
• Manage territory performance.
• Maintain precise forecasting, opportunity tracking, and customer engagement documentation within CRM.
• Employ data-driven account planning to prioritize high-value opportunities and enhance territory performance.
• Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership teams to facilitate customer acquisition and growth.
• Maintain a consistent and high-quality activity cadence, including in-person hospital visits, virtual meetings, and significant phone calls with a focus on advancing accounts through the sales process to close.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of successful experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical device, laboratory, or life sciences sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in complex B2B healthcare sales environments.
• Demonstrated success in selling to hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, or integrated delivery networks.
• Experience managing lengthy sales cycles involving multiple clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and strategic account management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the capacity to deliver scientifically rigorous sales presentations and engage sophisticated clinical and executive audiences.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Northeast territory, including overnight trips as required.
