This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Account Executive to devise strategies for acquiring and retaining both new and existing clients.
• Work alongside sales teams to meet company goals and objectives.
• Spot opportunities for current customers to utilize Tempus algorithmic tests and additional features.
• Join efforts on upselling various products.
• Encourage customer adoption of online ordering via Tempus Hub and EMR integrations.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with prospective oncology clients for Tempus.
• Advocate for adherence to web-based molecular information resources.
• Assess competitive landscapes and account situations, identify trends, and relay customer insights to leadership.
• Track sales performance against established objectives.
• Formulate and execute a business plan for the territory that outlines budgets, travel, territory management, and goals.
• Embody Tempus’ company culture to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with physicians and office staff to facilitate clinical orders.
• Maintain connections with pathology departments to assist with specimen sendouts and tissue procurement.
• Ensure regular communication with targeted accounts.
• Facilitate Medical Affairs report reviews with physicians.
• Manage the ordering of kits and literature replenishment at accounts.
• Identify and participate in approved local conferences.
• Collaborate with accounts to gather clinical data and progress notes for patients tested by Tempus.
• Must reside in the Bay Area or surrounding regions.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory as needed.
• Capability to quickly assimilate relevant genomic and oncology knowledge.
• Ability to work independently while proactively communicating, managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks daily, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of the market, customers, and products to back sales objectives.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the capacity to engage with healthcare professionals.
• Positive mindset with an understanding of organizational growth and change.
• Strong administrative abilities and the sophistication to operate in complex business environments.
• Exhibit Tempus’ values through integrity, respect, and trust.
• Ideally live within the NorCal territory, particularly in Sacramento.
• Hold a B.S. degree in biology, life sciences, business, or marketing.
• Have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Bonus: Experience in healthcare sales support, particularly in oncology or pathology, with a track record of success, or general clinical experience.
• Incentive compensation may be available based on the position.
