This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Manage the daily administrative operations of Michigan Humane’s veterinary clinics.
• Set standards for the utilization of veterinary practice information management systems.
• Create and execute training programs for system users.
• Ensure all materials are current and relevant.
• Oversee daily administration and support of the veterinary information management system, including profile and role management, customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layouts; ensure accurate invoice closing and daily data integration validation.
• Define best practices for utilizing veterinary information systems in field operations and ensure precise record-keeping for these activities.
• Establish and uphold inventory control procedures within the practice information management system to maintain adequate stock levels, reduce waste, and prevent stockouts.
• Supervise the proper registration of microchips.
• Prepare documentation for charge capture reviews.
• Ensure the practice complies with established standards.
• Develop and maintain all business requirements documentation, evaluate changes to workflows, fields, and profiles, and implement changes as needed.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions.
• Responsible for assessing new version features, communicating their benefits to the business, and implementing updates into production.
• High School Diploma.
• At least 5 years of experience in veterinary practice management, healthcare operations, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of practice management systems and inventory control methods.
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in training others effectively.
