This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Assist healthcare professionals in ensuring that orders are complete and processed in a timely manner.
• Provide support to healthcare providers and insurance clients concerning specific requirements, including authorizations, physician fees, and the delivery of reports.
• Uphold high standards of client interactions by asking pertinent questions, securing provider cooperation, and advocating professionally for timely completion.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and priority messages from insurers, healthcare providers, clients, and advisors.
• Review and verify orders to confirm that all documentation, authorizations, and payment information are complete for prompt report generation.
• Conduct follow-up communications to gather updates, identify delays, and engage records release staff to accelerate report delivery.
• Accurately record all client, facility, and call details, including contact names and outcomes.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure adherence to compliance standards set by insurers, healthcare providers, and physicians.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• High school diploma required.
• Bilingualism in French and English is essential for Quebec; considered an advantage for the rest of Canada.
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a contact center or a relevant industry is necessary.
• Ability to exhibit a strong sense of urgency, multitasking capabilities, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities and both verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in delivering accurate, timely results within team settings.
• Results-oriented and resourceful, with strong skills in research and information gathering.
• Proficient in MS Office and data entry, with excellent phone etiquette and adaptability to new systems.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
