This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Facilitate post-sales customer interactions for the fulfillment of print and related services, including kitting.
• Process print/kitting/distribution orders from customers via online platforms or direct communication.
• May act as the lead service professional for customers and internal RRD stakeholders, participating in or leading client meetings and business reviews.
• Offer comprehensive support to sales and customers by addressing client inquiries and requests through various communication channels.
• Address customer concerns or issues promptly, including dispute management and invoice reconciliation.
• Provide proof of delivery and order status upon request.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to gather job requirements, translating them into detailed manufacturing and shipping instructions for standard and complex products.
• Spearhead the development of process documentation, workflows, and job aids for both internal and external use.
• Suggest workflow or process improvements for proposed jobs to enhance benefits for both the customer and the company.
• Conduct quality reviews of personal work and that of other client care staff to ensure all information is accurate and complete prior to production.
• Process orders and change notices, including securing delivery commitments and special freight quotes, ensuring job instructions are verified in the relevant manufacturing systems.
• Generate pricing and quotes as needed.
• Verify composition or perform copy preparation as necessary for order processing.
• Manage client inventory item maintenance in applicable systems while producing and analyzing reports.
• Coordinate corrections or changes during the work-in-process through written or verbal instructions.
• May train and mentor other members of the client care staff.
• Lead the Corrective Action process on behalf of sales/customers, including root cause investigations and actionable improvements.
• May provide recommendations to management regarding appropriate issue responses in the best interest of both the customer and the company.
• Handle data entry tasks, including setting up new items and managing current inventories.
• Serve as a communication link between external customers and all internal departments.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with over 3 years of relevant administrative or operational support experience in manufacturing or office environments directly related to the job responsibilities.
• Additional educational certification at this level may be beneficial.
• Requires strong knowledge of functional areas related to the job, or a solid understanding of a relevant professional field.
• Must possess advanced technological proficiency, including computers and software programs such as MS Office or MAC word processing, spreadsheets, or other job-specific applications to successfully fulfill job duties.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for effective cross-departmental communication when completing assignments.
• Strong organizational skills are necessary, with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workloads, and adjust as needed to meet business demands.
