This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Act as the primary contact and relationship manager for a designated portfolio of clients.
• Develop and sustain relationships with client stakeholders, benefits administrators, brokers, and benefit carriers.
• Conduct proactive client lifecycle engagements, such as onboarding follow-ups, health assessments, and pre-renewal communications.
• Handle incoming client inquiries to resolution, including questions regarding billing and benefit invoices.
• Clarify benefit modifications and data integration into billing processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams and interact with benefit administration platforms and insurance providers to address issues and implement updates.
• Generate and deliver precise, timely monthly benefit invoices.
• Work in conjunction with Client Services Administrative Specialists on invoice generation and account expectations.
• Review data across carrier, payroll/HRIS, and billing systems.
• Identify root causes for discrepancies in enrollment, dates, premiums, and coverage; rectify issues and prevent future occurrences.
• Educate and assist clients on billing processes and benefit plan specifics.
• Guide clients through the annual renewal process, billing modifications, and transitions.
• Monitor account health and highlight potential concerns.
• Spot opportunities for process enhancements in billing and account management.
• Bachelor's degree and over 3 years of experience in employee benefits account management, client success, or client-facing relationship management, or more than 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in employee benefits.
• A customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to proactively reach out and schedule calls.
• Proficiency in managing complex client portfolios and resolving billing challenges.
• Knowledge of 834 and LDEx EDI files.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort in data analysis and manipulation, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and CRM platforms.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic startup atmosphere.
