This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.
• Receive transcription requests and evaluate their complexity along with turnaround requirements.
• Provide project quotes and establish realistic timelines.
• Respond to client inquiries regarding project status and needs.
• Identify and flag potential blockers or changes in project scope early on.
• Upload audio files into the necessary systems.
• Assign freelance transcribers to projects based on their language skills, expertise, and availability.
• Manage 15–25 projects concurrently without losing track.
• Update Client Service Managers on project status and any issues encountered.
• Monitor costs closely and raise any margin concerns proactively.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with your pool of freelancers.
• Document workflows and pinpoint bottlenecks in the transcription process.
• Create processes that enhance turnaround time and accuracy.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize project profitability.
• Suggest enhancements for project flow through the system.
• Review transcripts to ensure they align with templates and client specifications.
• Collaborate with freelancers on revisions when necessary.
• Deliver refined files within the set deadlines.
• Minimum of 2 years in operations, project coordination, client-facing roles, or data management (such as document control, customer service, HITL platforms, data annotation, or similar fields).
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Capable of working independently and taking ownership of issues.
• Experience with HITL (human-in-the-loop) platforms or data annotation work (e.g., Remotasks, Toloka, Mindrift, etc.) is a plus.
• Background in establishing scalable processes across distributed teams is advantageous.
• Proven experience in optimizing workflows or reducing project turnaround times is preferred.
• Prior experience in managing or coordinating with freelancers or contractors is beneficial.
• Proficiency in French, Mandarin, or German is advantageous for client outreach and freelancer coordination.
• Experience working globally across different time zones.
