This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.
• Lead the development of service and technology businesses to achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets in collaboration with account and domain teams.
• Adhere to Optiv's Standardized Sales Operating Processes to ensure consistent performance.
• Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of clients’ security environments, business operations, security requirements, and risk tolerance.
• Recognize security issues and relate them to Optiv’s strategic solutions and comprehensive cybersecurity programs.
• Discover cross-sell and upsell prospects within client accounts and Optiv’s partner ecosystem.
• Assess leads and collaborate with internal colleagues on project scope, proposal management, and closing deals.
• Engage in sales opportunities across the full spectrum of Optiv’s offerings.
• Clearly articulate how Optiv's technology and services fulfill the specific needs of client stakeholders at the leadership level.
• Stay updated on industry trends, news, and the security landscape to support thought leadership, analysis, and advisory services.
• Work in tandem with service delivery teams to provide domain-specific materials and a unified, comprehensive approach.
• Collaborate with various client personas to formulate security strategies and roadmaps that align with business objectives, budgets, and return-on-investment metrics.
• Maintain advisory relationships with key client stakeholders alongside sales partners.
• Foster strong working relationships with relevant Optiv technology partners.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• At least five (5) years in an information security position, ideally as a consulting advisor, architect, or cybersecurity leader.
• Highly driven self-starter who thrives without daily oversight.
• Capability to operate in a highly adaptable and agile team environment with prompt communication.
• Comprehensive understanding of the current threat landscape, vulnerabilities, and defensive measures.
• Strong business and technical insight with the ability to lead discussions centered around technology.
• Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication abilities with clients, including proficiency in whiteboard sessions and various presentation methods.
• Keen attention to detail when reviewing statements of work, quotes, and client deliverables.
• Extensive security-related knowledge and a commitment to continuously enhancing expertise across portfolio domains.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or C-CISO.
• Ability to work both in-person and remotely with distributed teams in a decentralized environment.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region or accounts up to 40% of the time.
