This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
β’ - **Client Ownership:** Act as the main liaison for a designated portfolio of clients, nurturing relationships through email, Zoom, and phone communication.
β’ - **Advisory & Analysis:** Conduct quarterly meetings with clients to assess financial statements and deliver strategic insights that foster business expansion.
β’ - **Accounting & Review:** Supervise general ledger activities, prepare financial statements, and perform extensive account reconciliations to guarantee technical precision.
β’ - **Tax Integration:** Streamline the tax compliance process by preparing returns and supplying accurate financials to the tax department.
β’ - **Workflow Management:** Evaluate transactional work and ensure all monthly accounting tasks are completed punctually.
β’ - A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a CPA firm is essential.
β’ - CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA status is preferred.
β’ - Must possess expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online; experience with UltraTax is advantageous.
β’ - Strong practical skills in tax planning and preparation are required.
β’ - You should be a problem-solver who enjoys a client-facing role and excels in a self-motivated, remote work setting.
β’ - Previous experience with dental or healthcare clients is preferred.
