This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and nurture robust relationships with Ecosystem clients and partners, including data sources, data aggregators, and enterprises, focusing on transformational outcomes that positively impact various stakeholders across the ecosystem.
• Assume ultimate responsibility for bookings and revenue generation for your designated Ecosystem accounts.
• Effectively position and market Datavant’s complete product portfolio - which includes connectivity infrastructure, privacy-preserving linkages, data licensing, and Real-World Evidence (RWE) solutions - to satisfy client requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts at Datavant throughout the strategic sales process, from lead generation to closing, which involves presenting value propositions, identifying and addressing partner needs, negotiating business terms, and executing contracts.
• Utilize extensive knowledge of your client’s organizational structure and initiatives to uncover new business opportunities for Datavant solutions.
• Monitor and manage the health of the pipeline, forecasting accuracy, and deal velocity through CRM and analytics tools.
• Collect valuable feedback from customers and partners regarding pricing, market challenges, innovation, and the competitive landscape to guide team strategy and product positioning.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback within the Ecosystem segment to inform account strategy.
• Collaborate across the Datavant organization — including Marketing, Product, Solutions, and Delivery teams — to achieve personal goals, team objectives, and company milestones.
• 7+ years of pertinent experience in partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales within the healthcare, life sciences, or enterprise SaaS sectors, emphasizing ecosystem strategy, Real World Data, or services.
• Familiarity with the Healthcare RWD landscape, comprising RWD sources, data aggregators, analytics platforms, and the healthcare investment environment.
• Proven experience in selling complex solutions and driving substantial revenue growth in a highly dynamic setting, involving multiple stakeholders from line managers to C-level executives.
• Demonstrated success in forming partnerships that result in revenue generation and market expansion.
• Comfortable maneuvering through ambiguity, managing numerous high-stakes relationships, and acting swiftly with minimal oversight.
• Highly consultative, hands-on, and collaborative approach.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and analytical abilities, with executive presence and confidence in leading discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Strong teamwork skills with Sales, Product, Marketing, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in the Google suite of productivity applications (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and Salesforce.com.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude, working efficiently and independently, possessing excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time.
