Client Partner – Retail – Hardlines, Softlines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Act as the Trusted Advisor in the implementation of Blue Yonder’s Supply Chain planning and execution solutions, preferably with a background in Retail Softlines & Hardlines.

• Take ownership of the overall Services Sales strategy for your designated territory of accounts, collaborating with Blue Yonder SaaS Sales, Presales, Strategic Advisory, and other teams to ensure alignment across the organization.

• Directly engage with your customer base, fostering Trusted Advisor relationships, positioning Blue Yonder Software solutions and services, and assisting with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new sales opportunities.

• Work in partnership with all internal Blue Yonder business functions (including Sales Leadership, Customer Executives, Customer Success teams, Delivery and Consulting counterparts, Product leadership, etc.) to create and sustain an effective sales strategy, ensuring efficiency throughout the sales cycle to drive profitable results for Blue Yonder.

• Provide insights and support to Sales Leadership and/or Customer Executives during the sales cycle.

• Formulate implementation plans and effort estimates based on our recommended best practices, alongside crafting and delivering business proposals and detailed Statements of Work, with an emphasis on quick time to value to support software sales cycles and services back-sell opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with customers during discovery sessions and ongoing discussions to ensure a clear and unambiguous definition of scope and deliverables for software implementation by the delivery teams.

• Lead Services workshops for potential customers, emphasizing the value of Blue Yonder’s services in addressing their business challenges and needs through Blue Yonder solutions and professional services offerings.

• Build relationships with key decision-makers to negotiate services contracts and facilitate successful sales outcomes.

• Partner with Customer Success and marketing to develop collateral for implementation approaches and promote Blue Yonder events and trade shows.

• Create template plans and services sales collateral, and assist in onboarding other team members and new hires.

• Collaborate with Partners when applicable to identify opportunities and generate demand through lead generation activities, product & services launch campaigns, and targeted account selling strategies in existing and new markets for your assigned territory.


⛳️ Requirements

• A combination of 10 years of relevant experience in positioning implementation services to support Software Sales, evaluating the need for implementation services (as a customer/partner), or previous formal sales/account management roles.

• Relevant or equivalent work experience in implementing the Blue Yonder portfolio of supply chain solutions.

• Familiarity with industry-specific business/planning processes for Retail Softlines and/or Hardlines.

• Experience with new AI/ML-based solutions is preferred.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and high-visibility role while managing multiple priorities.

• Exceptional analytical skills, technical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Current experience in a high-growth enterprise software company, particularly with SaaS/Cloud business models.

• Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to influence desirable outcomes.

• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills to large audiences and customer C-Suite executives.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with customers and partners.

• Willingness to travel as required; a minimum of 25% travel is expected.
