This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales objectives.
• Establish relationships with C and VP level executives in designated accounts and effectively convey the value proposition of Smart Data Solutions to meet their business needs.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to develop, implement, and execute strategic business plans for each account based on insights gained from regular business reviews and customer meetings.
• Partner with the SDS Technical Partner team to ensure that customer business requirements are met and maintain open communication between SDS and the customer.
• Create a business plan and sales strategy for each account that assesses the achievement of sales and customer objectives.
• Work strategically with the SVP of Sales to produce forecasts, identify emerging trends and challenges, and suggest appropriate solutions.
• Utilize CRM tools to ensure timely and accurate tracking of sales activities and status updates, along with reliable and precise sales forecasts.
• Stay informed about the product line, competition, and industry trends that could influence client business operations.
• Remain updated on industry trends and relay this information to relevant company stakeholders.
• Conduct on-site and online sales presentations and product demonstrations.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes.
• Actively enhance product knowledge to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Smart Data Solutions product line, including any new functionalities.
• Travel as necessary for client, prospect, and sales meetings, with an expected travel rate of approximately 50%.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Proven track record of supporting and managing relationships within the healthcare payer market, demonstrating success with customers utilizing enterprise products focused on workflow automation, EDI, Clearinghouse, Claims Processing, and/or outsourced BPO solutions.
• Established ability to present an enterprise technology solution that influences multiple departments within a payer organization.
• Familiarity with SaaS cloud-based technology service models and transaction-based pricing structures.
• Capability to adopt a consultative approach within the account management/customer success process.
• Coordination of a multi-disciplinary team to strategize sales activities.
