
Client Operations Specialist – Renewals

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana, +2 more states.
• Assist Client Managers and Client Directors by actively overseeing existing renewal business, ensuring timely quote generation, validating service contracts, auditing, and managing all facets of the renewable pipeline using Salesforce.com.
• Deliver exceptional client service and communication utilizing available tools and resources.
• Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from both internal business functions and external clients and partners.
• Collaborate and advise Client Managers, Client Directors, and clients to explore various opportunities such as upselling service support levels, authorized support, multi-year contracts, technology refreshes (EOL/EOS), and co-term contracts with diverse partner technologies.
• Offer strategic and competitive pricing recommendations employing various pricing tools to enhance Optiv’s profit margins.
• Work with the client management team to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, negotiate discounts with vendors and distributors, and devise strategies to increase client value while maximizing margins.
• Provide details on maintenance contracts and asset tracking as needed.
• Accurately prepare and submit orders for purchasing.
• Generate system reports for the Client Manager/Client Director, operations, and management upon request.
• Serve as a liaison between Client Managers/Client Directors and Optiv's internal business units.
• Assist in completing client-requested documentation, including RFPs, supplier forms, and other nonstandard documents.
• Collaborate with internal teams to exchange best practices, ideas, and training that align with Optiv’s culture and core values.
• Foster professional relationships with Client Managers and Client Directors to embody Optiv's Core Values.
• Proactively follow up with clients, manufacturers, distributors, Client Managers, and Client Directors to support the renewals sales cycle.
• Engage in corporate compliance training, operations/systems enhancements, user-acceptance testing, and personal career development initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain product and industry knowledge.
• Ensure account health through data integrity, credit standing, and more.
• Volunteer to assist colleagues with tasks while they are out of the office.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a Business-to-Business Sales/Client Services role is required.
• Previous experience managing renewal contracts is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Internet navigation skills are required.
• Two years of experience in the technical or information technologies industry is preferred.
• Prior experience with Client Relationship Management software (CRM) is required.
• Experience with Salesforce.com is preferred.
• Proven capability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Ability to operate effectively in a sales partnership setting, where workflow responds to incoming requests, is required.
• Ability to build relationships and trust with internal and external partners/clients.
• Skill in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
