This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.
• Take full responsibility for managing planholder/client accounts for Premier brokers (2-999 lives) with the aim of ensuring client satisfaction, persistency, growth, and profitability objectives are met.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and brokers/consultants through an active presence in the market.
• Collaborate closely with the respective sales representative to secure their support for the account management strategy and positioning.
• Strategically oversee the lifecycle of a client to create optimal solutions that address their benefit needs.
• Balance client requirements with business objectives.
• Meet annual financial growth and persistency targets.
• A BA or BS degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in group insurance, specifically in account servicing and/or management.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proven success in working with brokers/consultants and high-level clients.
• Capability to analyze data to inform and execute renewal decisions while applying suitable solutions for clients.
• Proficiency in sales enablement technology, training, and essential platforms, including Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams), Concur, Tableau, and Salesforce.
• Ability to thrive in a virtual environment and build rapport remotely.
• Aptitude for adapting to changes in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of relevant industry products and processes, such as Worksite, LTD, Dental products, absence management, online enrollment, experience rating, and dental network analysis processes.
• Consultative selling abilities with a talent for influencing and persuading others.
• Strong virtual communication, presentation, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
• Team player who can establish relationships and effectively interact with individuals at all levels both internally and externally, showcasing customer orientation.
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including collaborative selling efforts.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills along with basic math proficiency.
• Willingness to embrace change and adopt new methodologies, particularly in implementing strategies and tactics to enhance the current broker base.
• Capacity to exercise sound judgment and manage conflicts effectively.
• Ability to convey confidence and maintain a positive outlook.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Must obtain necessary industry licensing within 90 days of hire and maintain it by fulfilling Continuing Education requirements.
