This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Accountable for steering strategy for significant, strategic accounts
• Establishing and nurturing executive-level relationships with clients
• Managing accounts with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention
• Responsible for quota linked to specific strategic accounts
• Expertise and consistent application of Gartner’s internal sales methodology
• Skilled in large account planning and knowledgeable about territory management
• Oversee forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• 10-15 years of external experience demonstrating success in consultative sales
• Capacity to prospect and manage relationships at the C-level and senior levels within large multinational corporations
• Strong display of intellect, ambition, executive presence, and sales insight
• Proven track record of building excellent client relationships
• In-depth understanding of technology buying centers
• Extensive and relevant industry knowledge, particularly in vertical markets by territory
• Strong computer skills
• Exceptional written and oral/presentation abilities
• Capability to create and deliver effective presentations to contract decision-makers (C-level)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s or advanced degree is a plus
