This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the primary technology contact for designated clients, managing relationships at a strategic level.
• Facilitate discovery discussions to comprehend client business objectives, current technology investments, and emerging requirements.
• Simplify complex technical subjects into accessible guidance tailored for non-technical stakeholders and executive audiences.
• Represent Sentinel Blue confidently and clearly during client calls, adopting a consultative approach.
• Address client inquiries and technology requests that extend beyond standard managed service offerings, including specialized platforms, line-of-business applications, and custom infrastructure needs.
• Rapidly evaluate unfamiliar systems and platforms, grasping hosting requirements, integration dependencies, security posture, and compliance implications, even without extensive prior knowledge of the specific tool.
• Implement, configure, and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications during client engagements, which includes setting up servers, adjusting system configurations, and resolving application-level issues.
• Provide guidance in accordance with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and CIS Controls as relevant to the client’s context.
• Identify gaps, risks, and remediation priorities within client environments and communicate them effectively.
• Assist clients in evaluating vendor proposals and technology investments, which includes RFP support, technical contract review, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Evaluate vendor security posture, SLA commitments, and integration readiness in relation to the client's environment.
• Create clear client-facing documents such as assessments, roadmaps, briefing papers, and recommendation reports.
• Work collaboratively with internal IT Operations, SOC, and GRC teams to direct client needs to the appropriate delivery function.
• Enhance internal knowledge by documenting patterns, assessments, and guidance for recurring client scenarios.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, IT consulting, or technology advisory roles with proven client-facing ownership.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and contemporary identity and endpoint management.
• Proven capability to evaluate unfamiliar technology platforms and generate actionable recommendations without needing complete ownership of the system.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and confidently to executive and non-technical audiences.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and commitment to follow-through, including validation and documentation.
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, or CIS Controls in a practical engineering or advisory context.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required within 6 months of hire if not already obtained.
