This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee strategic client relationships within assigned accounts generating $2M - $4M in annual revenue.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for clients, fostering trusted, long-lasting relationships with senior stakeholders.
β’ Direct strategic planning efforts and contribute to medical communications roadmaps that align with brand goals and scientific strategies.
β’ Maintain comprehensive knowledge of client brands, therapeutic areas, clinical data, and market dynamics to steer project direction.
β’ Recognize evolving client needs, propose innovative solutions, and drive organic growth to achieve or surpass revenue targets.
β’ Facilitate weekly client status meetings, ensuring timely agendas, summaries, and proactive communication.
β’ Manage the financial health of assigned accounts, including forecasting, margin management, Earned Rate performance, and timely reconciliations and close-outs.
β’ Lead the development and execution of essential medical communications tactics, such as publications, scientific communication platforms, advisory boards, congress activities, speaker programs, MSL materials, omnichannel programs, and digital initiatives.
β’ Oversee and mentor Manager- and Coordinator-level staff through coaching, feedback, and career development.
β’ Adhere to agency and client SOPs and compliance standards, including PhRMA and Open Payments guidelines.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree is required (preferably in Communications, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field).
β’ 8 β 10+ years of experience in medical communications, medical education, pharma marketing, or related areas.
β’ Strong comprehension of the life sciences industry, therapeutic landscapes, and the drug development process.
β’ Experience in strategic planning initiatives, including publications planning, tactical planning, and congress strategy.
β’ Advanced financial acumen, including forecasting, SOW development, and profitability management.
β’ Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills with an executive-level presence when interacting with clients.
β’ Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in a high-paced environment.
β’ Proven skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
β’ Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
β’ Demonstrated leadership in managing people, coaching, and performance management.
β’ High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and compliance.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management systems.
