This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with a network of Northstar client facilities to deliver outstanding customer service
• Expand Northstar’s presence in the market
• Identify and execute projects aimed at landfill diversion, cost savings, and improved efficiency
• Optimize profits and enhance client retention rates
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with external site contacts
• Act as a point of escalation for urgent service-related issues
• Develop and implement innovative solutions for waste and recycling initiatives
• Analyze historical data to provide recommendations for enhancing waste program performance
• Strategically price commodities and manage the installation and removal of waste and recycling equipment
• Perform on-site and telephone waste audits at manufacturing and Distribution Center (DC) locations
• Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of relevant professional experience in the waste and recycling sector
• Strong interpersonal and analytical capabilities
• Ability to think strategically
• A strong sense of personal accountability and ability to execute ideas
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Skills in cross-departmental collaboration
• Flexibility in a rapidly changing environment
• Strong decision-making abilities and a keen attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record as a condition of employment
