This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and lead ATM project work teams along with associated resources.
• Oversee and manage the implementation lifecycle of ATM projects and various initiatives.
• Coordinate all stages of operational implementation while utilizing established PMI project management methodologies.
• Engage with project teams, management, external clients, and vendors effectively.
• Facilitate work breakdown processes to outline tasks, durations, efforts, dependencies, and implementation timelines.
• Collaborate with technology leaders to pinpoint interdependencies, lead times, project resources, and schedules.
• Propel cross-functional project team members, assign responsibilities, and conduct team meetings.
• Ensure project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and properly archived.
• Prepare and disseminate project reports and communications.
• Coordinate the development, execution, integration elements, and overall change control of project plans.
• Create detailed technical project plans for both internal and client-facing projects.
• Serve as the primary liaison for sponsors and client executive staff, managing expectations regarding timing, functionality, and business objectives.
• Handle project conflicts, provide final project approvals on behalf of stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when necessary.
• Lead lessons-learned sessions and engage in root cause analysis.
• Ensure timely communication through planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, subcontracting partners, consultants, customer resources, contractors, and third-party providers.
• Facilitate project kick-off and specification meetings.
• Travel to client locations to discuss specifications, business objectives, and project options.
• Coordinate with credit unions, MasterCard, VISA, processors, software vendors, and ATM networks.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the payment processing card industry, card processing systems and subsystems, in-house applications, system parameters, and regional ATM networks.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and education required.
• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience is required.
• At least 3 years in a client-facing role is required.
• 3 years in the financial services industry with a focus on card processing and payment solutions is preferred.
• Experience in client-facing project leadership and card processing is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
• Familiarity with various project methodologies is required.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Project Management tools is necessary.
• Understanding of debit and credit card processing and related financial technology products is essential.
• Demonstrated facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills are required.
• Ability to monitor and control activities in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects, tasks, and organizations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to give presentations using audiovisual aids.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Capable of negotiating and influencing others at all organizational levels.
• Ability to persuade senior-level executives to make informed business decisions.
• Discretion and sound judgment in decision-making are vital.
• Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 25% of the time.
