This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Under the guidance of a Client Contracts Attorney, evaluate, complete, and submit client due diligence, onboarding requests, and other related questionnaires, seeking input from the Firm's subject-matter experts as needed.
• Maintain a repository of standard responses and supporting documents pertinent to the completion of client diligence requests.
• Conduct an initial review of client billing guidelines for Client Contracts Attorney evaluation.
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of the firm’s policies and apply them in relation to diligence requests and client guidelines.
• Manage contract version control and finalization by executing redline comparisons using Litera Compare or other approved document comparison tools to ascertain whether client contracts have been previously reviewed, altered, or are in finalized status.
• Compose internal memoranda summarizing key provisions of approved client guidelines.
• Monitor all client contracts received and reviewed, updating the trackers utilized by the Client Contracts team as necessary.
• Prepare and post both pending and finalized client guidelines on the Firm’s Intranet, and file all fully executed client contracts in the designated document management system.
• Conduct regular audits of posted guidelines and archive any that are no longer applicable or in effect.
• Collaborate closely with the Associate Director of Client Contracts and a team of Client Contracts Attorneys.
• A bachelor's degree is required; a paralegal degree or certificate is preferred.
• Prior experience in a law firm or contract review is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word track changes, Planner, Lists, and document comparison tools (e.g., Litera Compare).
• Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Copilot and Harvey) is preferred.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsive, demonstrating sound judgment, and skilled at proactively managing workflow.
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities, maintain a fast pace, meet deadlines, and handle a substantial workload.
