This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee the resolution of client estimate disputes related to submitted job files.
• Record, monitor, and ensure the timely completion of all disputes, adhering to all relevant contracted deadlines, drying standards, and company policies.
• Assess estimates in accordance with carrier guidelines.
• Manage the efficiency and quality of the estimate review process in a timely and equitable manner.
• Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with carrier guidelines.
• Possess a solid technical foundation, ideally with hands-on experience in loss estimating, including residential and commercial mitigation and construction.
• Comfortable functioning in a metrics-driven claims environment.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Apply objective judgment and critical decision-making to resolve issues effectively.
• Document and follow up on discrepancies found in files.
• Communicate effectively with franchises and clients through phone, email, and internal/external systems to achieve agreement on invoice amounts and resolve billing disputes promptly.
• Elevate disputes to the appropriate professional for review to ensure completion and secure Franchise payment.
• Conduct comprehensive investigations of all provided information by analyzing all relevant issues and gathering responses from internal and external parties.
• Serve as an effective liaison between internal and external customers.
• Track daily and weekly pending reports and personal worklists to meet internal and contractual deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback and recommendations to management regarding issue resolution, quality enhancement, policies and procedures, cost-saving initiatives, best practices, and performance challenges.
• Serve as a backup for the audit team when necessary.
• Assist with customer complaints as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
• Consistent attendance is a crucial aspect of this role.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and suppliers, whether in person, on the phone, or through written correspondence, in a clear and professional manner.
• Certification from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC), including Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) (or the ability to obtain these within the first year of employment).
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Understanding of departmental policies, procedures, and processes.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated critical thinker capable of working independently to research and resolve issues.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and swiftly adjust to shifting or conflicting priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications and other Windows-based software applications is preferred.
