
Class A CDL Instructor Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
β’ Instruct students in Class A driving techniques through practical training in outdoor settings, utilizing both automatic and manual transmissions.
β’ Provide step-by-step guidance to students during pre-trip inspections, yard maneuvers, and on-road driving sessions.
β’ Equip students to successfully meet CDL testing standards on their initial attempt.
β’ Monitor student attendance and progress; offer additional assistance as required.
β’ Keep precise training records, evaluations, and necessary documentation.
β’ Promptly report all incidents and accidents to your lead instructor and corporate office.
β’ Collaborate closely with fellow instructors and the Lead Instructor to ensure a uniform student experience and adhere to our established curriculum.
β’ Contribute to maintaining a clean and presentable yard and facility.
β’ Step in for other instructors at nearby regional yards during emergencies as needed.
β’ Aid in the transfer of trucks to repair operations and neighboring yards for usage.
β’ High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
β’ Valid Class A CDL with at least 24 months of documented Class A tractor-trailer driving experience.
β’ Experience with manual transmission β licensed to operate and capable of instructing on manual transmission.
β’ Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no violations.
β’ Must be able to pass a DOT physical examination and DOT-mandated drug and alcohol tests.
β’ Clearance from a background check is necessary.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the capability to mentor and coach students effectively.
β’ Basic computer proficiency for tracking student progress and managing schedules.
β’ Must reside in the state of application or have confirmed arrangements for relocation.
β’ Compliance with all state requirements for instructor licensing where applicable.
β’ 90-day probationary period upon hiring.

β’ 8-hour paid day off for achieving a full year of perfect attendance.
