This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Safely operate a variety of Class 3 units at the Imperial Oil site (Kearl).
• Manage the operation of Combo Vac units.
• Carry out tasks under all weather conditions.
• Maintain daily logbooks, customer work orders, field-level risk assessments, and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Adhere to task instructions provided by Dispatch or Supervisor.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks for the assigned truck.
• Participate in toolbox and safety meetings.
• Comply with corporate and site safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain and operate BME tools and equipment to the required standards.
• Ensure all training is up to date.
• Adhere to TDG and WHMIS standards and regulations.
• Pursue continuous improvement opportunities.
• Deliver customer-focused services.
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 3 years of experience, including operation of up to 18-speed manual Class 1 or 3 equipment.
• Prior or related experience operating Combo Vac units.
• Mine drive experience is considered an asset.
• Mechanically inclined and physically fit.
• Capable of working in all types of weather conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• OSSA or BSO/CSO certification required.
• CSTS certification required.
• Certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is necessary.
• Daily Trip Inspections certification required.
• Provincial Hours of Service for Alberta certification required.
• Weights and Dimensions certification is necessary.
• Cargo Securement for flatbeds certification required.
• WHMIS certification is essential.
• H2S Alive certification is required.
• Successful completion of BME driver’s evaluation is necessary.
• Successful completion of pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening is required.
• Successful completion of fit-for-duty pre-employment screening is mandatory.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• 14 on 14 off work schedule, including both days and nights.
