This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• In the role of Property Damage Liability Team Lead at Reserv, you will function as a working leader, providing support to a claims manager while undertaking leadership and technical responsibilities related to claims.
• Your leadership duties will encompass supervising the work performed by the Commercial Transportation and Delivery/Courier Claims adjusting staff.
• You will enhance operational effectiveness, especially by utilizing technology and analytics to improve efficiencies and performance.
• Play an essential role within the team, as well as with customers and clients.
• Balance management duties with individual contributor tasks, stepping in to assist with claims when the volume necessitates.
• Flexibility is key; you must be able to transition from claims handling to providing coaching and feedback when required.
• Agility is vital; you should possess an agile mindset and the capability to shift focus quickly as needed.
• Consistently demonstrate reliability in achieving or surpassing goals and overcoming challenges.
• Implement and uphold best practices for claims management, covering all aspects from claim intake to investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery.
• Ensure alignment between the team and the expectations of clients and customers regarding the claims process.
• Act as a resource for escalated claims.
• Cultivate a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and encouraging professional growth and development.
• Attract, recruit, retain, and provide comprehensive training with the assistance of the wider leadership team.
• Prepare and present detailed claims reports, metrics, and analyses to clients and customers; advise them on claim trends and loss mitigation strategies.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial transportation, particularly in delivery and/or courier claims.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a fully remote management role.
• Active licensure in your home state or designated home state.
• Willingness to acquire all relevant licenses within 45 days of hiring.
• A minimum of 5 years of insurance claims experience in the Delivery/Courier sector, including bodily injury and property damage expertise.
• Proficiency with technology and the ability to advance claims systems and processes for improved efficiencies and outcomes.
• Proven commitment to quality, precision, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong integrity, ethics, and accountability in managing confidential and sensitive information.
