Claims Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Actively engage in the daily planning and assignment of claims.

• Assist in the mentorship of team members by answering adjuster inquiries and coaching on claims procedures; auditing claims for accuracy.

• Ensure adherence to Customer Service Standards related to Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).

• Monitor the daily activity of adjusters to ensure an equitable distribution of claims and reassign tickets/claims as needed.

• Review and assess automotive extended warranty claims submitted by customers, dealerships, and repair facilities.

• Verify claim details, including coverage, eligibility, and supporting documentation.

• Conduct comprehensive investigations and evaluations to ascertain the validity of claims and contract coverage.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external entities to gather pertinent information and resolve claim-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards throughout the claims administration process.

• Process claims accurately and efficiently within established timeframes.

• Communicate claim decisions, approvals, and denials to relevant parties in a timely and professional manner.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and escalations regarding warranty claims.

• Maintain precise and organized claim records and documentation.

• Identify trends and areas for process enhancement, contributing to the development and implementation of improved claims-handling procedures.


⛳️ Requirements

• Equivalent experience in Claims Administration or a related field.

• More than 5 years of recent experience in automotive claims administration or a similar capacity.

• Strong understanding of automotive systems, components, and repair processes.

• Familiarity with warranty regulations, guidelines, and best practices within the automotive sector.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, alongside strong interpersonal skills.

• Capability to manage multiple claims while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Proficiency in utilizing claims management systems and software.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.

• High level of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.

• Must pass drug screening and background check.

• Proactive, dependable, and trustworthy.

• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team.

• Safeguards the organization's integrity by maintaining confidentiality of information.

• Self-motivated and requires minimal supervision.
