Claims Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversees the daily operations of the Workers’ Compensation claims team.

• Aids the Claims Manager in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new personnel.

• Guarantees that staff adheres to Workers’ Compensation laws and regulatory reporting standards.

• Promotes optimal team performance through continuous training and performance assessments.

• Offers technical and jurisdictional support to claims personnel concerning intricate matters.

• Serves as a liaison by recommending and implementing final resolutions for clients and employees.

• Engages in customer claim reviews and delivers presentations.

• Willingness to travel overnight and attend meetings when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Proven public speaking capabilities.

• At least 5 years of experience in claims handling.

• Understanding of Workers’ Compensation is essential.

• Must maintain a current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation claims throughout employment with CorVel.

• State certification or license as an experienced claims adjuster is required.
