This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Process and report claim details received from insurers.
• Acquire and evaluate insurer loss run reports for claims assessment.
• Oversee large claims and lawsuits, alerting the manager to significant losses.
• Address inquiries and assistance requests from insureds, insurers, and claimants.
• Liaise with the Claims Manager regarding important requests, issues, and missing details.
• Manage electronic account files and utilize the agency management system in daily operations.
• Organize workload to achieve objectives and seek management support when needed.
• Adhere to quality program standards and agency and department protocols.
• Ensure confidentiality while collecting, maintaining, and sharing sensitive information, including PHI.
• Continuously develop and enhance technical knowledge through educational opportunities.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Complete special projects and other assigned tasks.
• Valid driver's license.
• Resident Property and Casualty Agent's license, or willingness to obtain one.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with agency automation software; experience with Applied Epic is preferred.
• Competence in word processing and typing.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in commercial and/or personal insurance.
• Direct experience with commercial and/or personal claims is preferred.
