This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.
• Provide operational assistance to workers' compensation adjusters by overseeing claim-related administrative tasks.
• Establish and maintain claim files, ensuring that information is accurately entered and promptly updated.
• Confirm coverage, process transactions related to claims, and assist with payment and financial processing activities.
• Address inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail, resolving standard issues and escalating more complex matters as needed.
• Collect information, identify inconsistencies, and aid in resolving issues.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, forms, and documentation related to claims.
• Coordinate outreach via phone to gather information, schedule appointments, and assist in developing claim files.
• Support litigation efforts by organizing and providing necessary claim documentation.
• Keep workloads organized through ClaimConnect, ClaimCenter, OpsNow, Outlook, and other claims platforms.
• Assist in the management of policies, claims, and data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with adjusters, internal departments, and external contacts to facilitate the handling of claims.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions and communications.
• Meet productivity, quality, and service standards while managing multiple priorities.
• Adhere to established guidelines and procedures, seeking assistance on complex or non-standard issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in claims operations, processing, support, or a relevant administrative role in insurance is essential.
• Experience assisting workers' compensation adjusters or claims professionals is highly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to work accurately, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside within the Mountain or Central Time Zone.
• Availability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mountain/Central Time.
