This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the main claims representative for designated clients across various coverage lines (e.g., casualty, property, workers’ compensation, professional liability).
• Offer strategic advice on claim reporting, development, settlement strategies, and resolutions.
• Represent clients in intricate, high-severity, or contested claims to secure the best possible outcomes.
• Ensure that insurers, TPAs, and defense counsel comply with industry best practices, service expectations, and policy commitments.
• Examine claim patterns, loss drivers, and reserve sufficiency; formulate recommendations aimed at minimizing total risk costs.
• Conduct claims evaluations and stewardship meetings with carriers and TPAs.
• Assist renewal and placement initiatives with insights from claims, loss narratives, and benchmarking data.
• Provide support in coverage interpretation, negotiations regarding claims, and escalation of issues when necessary.
• Oversee and coordinate fee-for-service consulting endeavors.
• Collaborate closely with producers, account executives, and risk management teams to align claims strategies with client objectives.
• Create and deliver claims reports, dashboards, and summaries for client-facing presentations.
• Educate clients regarding claims procedures, coverage aspects, and emerging claims challenges.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in claims management, brokerage claims consulting, carrier claims, TPA, or similar roles.
• Strong preference for experience managing complex or large-loss claims.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance policy terminology and claims procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills; capable of confidently presenting to senior client stakeholders.
• High standard of professionalism, discretion, and client-focused service orientation.
• Capacity to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, consultative setting.
• Adjuster license (if applicable).
• Relevant industry certifications such as CPCU, ARM, AIC, SCLA, or similar.
