Claims Call Centre Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee incoming inquiry calls of varying complexities to guarantee a positive experience for customers.

• Address intricate claims inquiries and issues, deciding when to escalate or involve additional resources.

• Communicate with both internal and external clients to share information, clarify details, and efficiently resolve queries or issues.

• Offer insights and recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of customer care.

• Adhere to established procedures to ensure compliance with risk and regulatory policies.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with no previous Clerical Support experience required, OR completion of Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and no prior Clerical Support experience required.

• At least 6 months of customer service experience.

• Experience in data entry.

• Designated home workspace that is free from noise and distractions.

• A stable, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 5 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download.

• Preferably, 6 months or more of experience in a call center environment.

• Strong data entry skills with the ability to type at least 32 WPM preferred.

• Familiarity with Windows-based operating systems and Microsoft Office preferred.

• Capability to swiftly and accurately navigate multiple computer screens and browsers preferred.

• Strong comprehension skills coupled with a professional demeanor.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• High attention to detail and proficient problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of insurance preferred.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not available.
