Claims Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute claims processes to enhance effectiveness and precision.

• Assess the accuracy of claims data entered into the system.

• Oversee the functioning of claims systems.

• Create solutions for claims challenges and collaborate with systems design to introduce new features.

• Examine claims for anomalies, accuracy, and completeness.

• Request supplementary information when required for claim processing.

• Coordinate and manage documentation, invoice dispute resolution, and payment for accounts.

• Conduct account analysis and investigate payment and account discrepancies.

• Identify and confirm transactions while accelerating the resolution of claims issues.

• Address complex issues and escalate only the most challenging problems to higher-level staff.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to junior team members.

• Engage in additional projects or responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience.

• Strong knowledge of claims processing with the ability to make informed decisions regarding claim eligibility.

• Exceptional attention to detail and proficient data entry skills for precise claim processing.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting claim data and adhering to established guidelines.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to engage with a superior customer-focused approach.

• Problem-solving skills to tackle claim issues and rectify discrepancies.

• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Capability to accurately type 35 words per minute and use a 10-key keypad.
