Claims Specialist, Bilingual – Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Ensure daily communication coverage for inbound and outbound interactions via phone, email, and other channels.

• Handle customer and retailer inquiries, providing follow-up assistance throughout the claims process.

• Assess coverage, distribute inspection packets, authorize technicians, order parts, recommend exchanges, manage settlements, and gather complaints.

• Review and oversee open claims, proactively following up to expedite claim resolution.

• Deliver prompt actions and responses to retailers, customers, and manufacturers.

• Receive and assess Inspection Packets to decide on warranty replacements or denials.

• Provide and coordinate Service Solutions for consumers with out-of-warranty issues or those not covered by a protection plan.

• Familiarize yourself with the retailer portal to offer claims guidance.

• Manage technician calls, document updates, and carry out necessary follow-up actions.

• Assist or fulfill Intake Specialist duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in the Intake process for at least 6 months.

• Successful completion and understanding of existing training.

• Capability to perform functions essential for processing ongoing claims.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

• Proficient in computer usage and keyboard skills.

• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

• Basic mathematical skills are necessary.

• Competence in call handling and the application of “soft skill” techniques.

• Orientation towards teamwork.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, as indicated in the job title.
