Claims Adjuster – Liability, GL & BI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate general liability and bodily injury claims on behalf of clients to ascertain benefits owed

• Ensure the continuous adjudication of claims aligns with service expectations, industry best practices, and client service standards

• Analyze and manage claims through action plans for timely and appropriate resolution

• Investigate claims and collect information to assess claim exposure

• Negotiate claim settlements within assigned authority

• Communicate claim progress and processing details with claimants and clients

• Report claims to the excess carrier

• Respond professionally and promptly to requests for guidance

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred

• A minimum of 4 years of claims management experience or a combination of education and experience is required

• Home state license is required

• Knowledge of jurisdictions across all states

• Ability to analyze general liability and bodily injury claims

• Capability to investigate claims and gather information to determine exposure

• Skill in negotiating settlements within designated authority

• Proficient in communicating claim activity and processing with claimants and clients

• Ability to report claims to excess carriers and respond to direction requests

• Strong conceptual and clear thinking skills

• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical abilities, and discretion

• Capacity to manage work-related stress and multiple priorities simultaneously

• Ability to meet deadlines efficiently

• Proficient computer keyboarding skills

• Capabilities in hearing, vision, and verbal communication
