Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engaging directly with insured individuals and conducting follow-ups to execute loss adjustments, pre-acceptance inspections, or quality control assessments to collect relevant information for settling reported claims or inspections.

• Keeping updated on crop insurance industry protocols associated with the accurate adjustment of claims.

• Evaluating and suggesting improvements for the company’s software products to ensure alignment with company standards and RMA regulations.

• Carrying out audits and reviews of claims.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in claims adjusting.

• Capability to acquire and/or uphold necessary adjuster certifications and licenses.

• A valid driver's license.

• Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting policy documentation and relevant procedures.

• Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Competent problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

• Familiarity with Crop Hail and Multi-Peril Insurance Policies, endorsements, and sanctioned claims adjusting practices.

• Experience in crop insurance with a focus on the claims process.

• Understanding of agricultural practices and crops typical to the designated region.
