This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Engage actively in design and analysis activities.
• Suggest enhancements to design standards, analysis techniques, and drafting methods.
• Collaborate effectively with teams in Manufacturing, Procurement, Service, Quality Assurance, and Engineering Services.
• Comprehend the entire product development lifecycle.
• Provide assistance in resolving design-related issues.
• Utilize and enhance design expertise while considering the manufacturability and efficiency of final products.
• Acquire best practices from seasoned engineers and subject matter experts.
• Contribute to the objectives of the North America Steel Design Engineering team.
• Currently a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Completion of coursework in Statics and Mechanics of Materials.
• Proficient in CAD applications, with the capability to transform drawings into 3D models.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred coursework or experience in Structural Analysis, Steel Design, and Strength of Materials, along with advanced CAD skills and design application experience.
