Civil QC Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Ensure that the stages of Civil Inspection Test Plans (ITP) are adhered to and followed consistently.

• Read and interpret a variety of drawings necessary for executing the work effectively.

• Possess knowledge of Civil codes, standards, and specifications.

• Responsible for conducting all facets of civil inspection activities with minimal supervision.

• Monitor civil activities and carry out necessary inspections according to the contractor's schedule.

• Collaborate with subcontractors to address and resolve quality-related issues.

• Conduct checks and tests to verify compliance with project specification requirements.

• Maintain documentation for project Quality Control.

• Identify and report instances of non-conformance.

• Ensure timely completion of reports and required documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Civil Degree/Diploma or certification as a CCIL technician is required.

• Practical construction experience is preferred.

• Proficient in computer skills, particularly with MS Office applications.

• Strong commitment to safety and excellent interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

• Familiarity with Quality Inspection Procedures, Tools, and Equipment is essential.
