This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Conduct fieldwork on a rotation schedule of 20 days on and 8 days off.
• Take the lead in executing foundation projects.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the success of projects.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes.
• A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Must be registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Canada.
• 2 to 5+ years of relevant field experience in civil construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects (experience with transmission, substations, or energy projects is advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, including earthworks, foundations, grading, drainage, and access road construction.
• Experience in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Capability to interpret geotechnical reports and apply findings in the field.
• Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) processes and documentation.
• Proven experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with the skill to make informed decisions in a dynamic field environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is a plus.
• Willingness and capability to travel to project sites and work in remote or outdoor settings under various weather conditions.
