
Civil Engineer β Water Treatment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Deliver civil engineering expertise and assistance for the design, construction, and commissioning of water treatment, remediation, and reclamation initiatives.
β’ Provide guidance and support for the execution of water treatment, remediation, and reclamation projects.
β’ Contribute to other engineering assignments as a member of the Ensero Engineering Team.
β’ Assist with risk assessments in conjunction with project management.
β’ Spearhead the formulation of engineering standards, principles, processes, and procedures.
β’ Cultivate and sustain client relationships through continuous communication and an understanding of client objectives.
β’ Travel to prospective and current job sites to collaborate with on-site personnel, vendors, clients, and regulatory authorities.
β’ Offer technical insights to projects within your areas of specialization.
β’ Create and revise documentation, including engineering designs, drawings, and site-specific information pertinent to the safety, operation, and maintenance of the site.
β’ Oversee and advocate for compliance regarding environmental health and worker safety systems.
β’ Identify and suggest enhancements to operations to ensure that assigned functions are efficient and cost-effective.
β’ Implement appropriate safety measures, anticipate hazardous situations, and respond proactively to avert accidents.
β’ Contribute to business growth through proposal support, identifying client needs, and project estimation.
β’ Provide technical input to projects within your areas of expertise.
β’ Collaborate with other technical specialists to achieve multidisciplinary project objectives.
β’ Mentor and deliver technical training to junior team members.
β’ Perform additional duties as needed.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects focused on water treatment and remediation.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
β’ Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards.
β’ Proficient in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
β’ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Capability to work efficiently within a team setting.
