Civil Engineer – Water Treatment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver civil engineering expertise and assistance for the design, construction, and commissioning of water treatment, remediation, and reclamation initiatives.

• Provide guidance and support for the execution of water treatment, remediation, and reclamation projects.

• Contribute to other engineering assignments as a member of the Ensero Engineering Team.

• Assist with risk assessments in conjunction with project management.

• Spearhead the formulation of engineering standards, principles, processes, and procedures.

• Cultivate and sustain client relationships through continuous communication and an understanding of client objectives.

• Travel to prospective and current job sites to collaborate with on-site personnel, vendors, clients, and regulatory authorities.

• Offer technical insights to projects within your areas of specialization.

• Create and revise documentation, including engineering designs, drawings, and site-specific information pertinent to the safety, operation, and maintenance of the site.

• Oversee and advocate for compliance regarding environmental health and worker safety systems.

• Identify and suggest enhancements to operations to ensure that assigned functions are efficient and cost-effective.

• Implement appropriate safety measures, anticipate hazardous situations, and respond proactively to avert accidents.

• Contribute to business growth through proposal support, identifying client needs, and project estimation.

• Provide technical input to projects within your areas of expertise.

• Collaborate with other technical specialists to achieve multidisciplinary project objectives.

• Mentor and deliver technical training to junior team members.

• Perform additional duties as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects focused on water treatment and remediation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards.

• Proficient in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work efficiently within a team setting.
