This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Direct civil and structural engineering design for antenna foundations, equipment pads, radomes, and associated site infrastructure.
• Carry out seismic and wind load evaluations for antenna systems and their supporting structures, ensuring compliance with relevant design standards.
• Perform viewshed and horizon assessments to confirm line-of-sight and sky visibility requirements.
• Supervise geotechnical investigations, which include soil characterization, bearing capacity evaluation, and foundation optimization.
• Evaluate and validate anchor configurations, structural interfaces, and load transfer systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure civil designs are aligned with system and deployment specifications.
• Assess third-party engineering outputs for quality, precision, and compliance with specifications.
• Assist in permitting, zoning, and regulatory approval processes associated with site development.
• Oversee construction activities and contractors to guarantee adherence to design, safety, and scheduling standards.
• Execute site inspections and quality assurance evaluations for concrete works, anchoring systems, and overall site readiness.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required.
• An advanced degree or professional licensure is preferred.
• At least 5–8 years of experience in civil or structural engineering related to infrastructure or industrial facilities.
• Experience in supporting satellite ground stations, telecommunications facilities, or large antenna systems.
• Understanding of lightning protection, grounding, and resilient site design principles.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies across various geographic regions and climates.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sites, vendors, or projects simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills within cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, multi-project environment.
• Keen attention to detail to ensure precision in designs and documentation.
• Proficiency in structural and civil analysis software (e.g., industry-standard modeling and calculation tools).
• Familiarity with geotechnical and site analysis tools, including viewshed and horizon analysis applications.
• Competence in computer-aided design (CAD) and documentation software.
• Experience with collaboration and project management platforms.
