Civil Engineering Sales Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Serve as the key technical authority for Trimble’s civil construction software suite, which includes Trimble Business Center, WorksManager, WorksOS, and Trimble Connect.

• Assist sales distribution channels by offering expert advice to ensure partners achieve optimal performance.

• Oversee the 'Data Whisperer' initiative: developing 3D designs for machine control and assessing 'As-Built' data from field teams, drones, and survey instruments.

• Provide practical support for job site demonstrations and evaluations to encourage professional working practices.

• Function as a Market Intel Agent by delivering insights on competitor products and assessing market potential across different customer segments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the civil construction, surveying, or machine control sectors.

• Solid understanding of horizontal civil construction projects and 3D design processes.

• Technical expertise in CAD software and 3D modeling.

• Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory for this region.

• Excellent communication abilities and a capacity to navigate sensitive or complex situations professionally.

• A proactive, solution-oriented attitude with the capability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks.

• Bonus Points For Experience with drone data processing or remote site management software.

• Prior experience in training or supporting third-party distribution partners.
