Structural Engineer – 4-Day Week

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Consulting with clients, performing structural calculations, and estimating costs at the office located in Dittersdorf near Schleiz.

• Creating proposals and structural calculations for roof structures in timber prefabrication (Abbund), timber frame construction, or utilizing nail-plated trusses.

• Planning and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with technical and legal standards.

• Coordinating the installation team and providing technical support throughout the construction phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related discipline, or alternatively, a master craftsman (Meister) or technician qualification.

• Initial professional experience in the planning and calculation of timber structures.

• Proficient knowledge of relevant calculation and design software, including CAD and structural analysis programs.
