This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the civil engineering strategy for the self-build infrastructure portfolio of Industrial Compute.
• Collaborate with engineering consultants and EPC firms to create civil and structural designs for hyperscale AI campuses.
• Promote ongoing enhancements to site design standards aimed at minimizing construction timelines, costs, and execution risks.
• Improve grading, earthwork, drainage, foundations, utility routing, and constructability across various campuses.
• Create structural standards that accommodate high floor loading, vibration control, durability, and long-lasting serviceability for AI infrastructure.
• Implement modular and prefabricated civil engineering techniques that enhance repeatability and speed of deployment.
• Work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Power Generation, Cooling, and Infrastructure Delivery teams during both design and construction phases.
• Assess engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and consultant outputs for technical quality and uniformity.
• Assist with geotechnical investigations, constructability assessments, value engineering, and design optimization projects.
• Investigate new construction methods and engineering technologies that enhance speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide engineering support throughout the construction, commissioning, and operational transition phases.
• Aid in developing global civil engineering standards for upcoming Industrial Compute campuses.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Over 8 years of experience in designing large-scale industrial, mission-critical, manufacturing, energy, or data center facilities.
• A solid understanding of site development, grading, drainage, foundations, structural systems, utility coordination, and constructability.
• Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams through the design and construction processes.
• Proficient in reviewing engineering calculations, drawings, and consultant submissions.
• Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
