Civil Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee designs for site grading, layout, stormwater management, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, water/firewater piping, pavement, parking lots, private roads/drives, erosion and sediment control, railroad spurs, and overall site development for industrial and manufacturing facilities.

• Spearhead the creation of engineering contract documents, encompassing drawings, details, specifications, and installation scopes of work utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office programs.

• Direct the collection of field data through hand measurements, surveying, 3D scanning, and ground penetrating radar.

• Lead the estimation of material take-offs and the preparation of budgetary construction cost estimates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year college or university.

• Four (4) to ten (10) years of relevant civil engineering experience.

• Preference for candidates with experience in engineering consulting and/or within manufacturing facilities.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of the start date.

• Must be willing to travel up to 20% for local daytime travel; occasional overnight travel may be necessary.

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Preferred proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Familiarity with topographic surveying and/or 3D laser scanning is preferred.

• Capability to self-manage tasks across multiple projects simultaneously.

• A positive attitude and a willingness to acquire new skills.
