Civil Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Accountable for initiating and developing engineering drawings from start to finish for designated projects.

• Completes design tasks of moderate complexity under direct oversight.

• Produces engineering drawings of moderate complexity with general supervision.

• Demonstrates a solid understanding within a specific engineering discipline.

• Knowledgeable about codes, permits, and software applications pertinent to the discipline.

• Grasps the process of preparing designs and drawings in accordance with project specifications and discipline-related instructions.

• Aids in gathering data on manpower, man-hour, and labor cost needs for the design team.

• Executes both routine and complex design tasks that necessitate judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or proven equivalency of experience and/or education.

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil3D.

• Demonstrates strong technical growth in civil engineering and design.

• Holds comprehensive knowledge of industry standards.

• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ProjectWise, Microsoft Excel, Google Earth, NavisWorks, ESRI GIS, Blue Marble Global Mapper, or other GIS applications.

• Experience with additional software such as InfraWorks, ReCap, Bluebeam, and Revit is advantageous.
