This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop civil engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and documentation for projects related to renewable energy and land development.
• Assist in site design, grading, drainage, stormwater management, erosion control, access roads, and associated civil design tasks.
• Utilize civil engineering principles, standards, procedures, and criteria to create practical and feasible design solutions.
• Generate project documentation, which includes drawings, reports, technical studies, specifications, and supporting calculations.
• Collaborate with internal project teams, encompassing civil, structural, electrical, project management, and other relevant disciplines.
• Examine site constraints, permitting obligations, jurisdictional standards, and specific project criteria.
• Recognize design issues, project risks, and opportunities for enhancing quality, constructability, or efficiency.
• Assist in project execution in accordance with defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Carry out key responsibilities, ensuring timely deliverables and adherence to deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience in civil engineering design, land development, renewable energy, infrastructure, site design, or a similar area.
• Proficient understanding of civil engineering principles, standards, codes, and design methodologies.
• Capability to prepare or assist in creating engineering drawings, calculations, reports, and project documentation.
• Skill in identifying and resolving engineering challenges.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capacity to be both innovative and analytical.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Proficiency in effective time management, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
